This map represents the boundaries of the indigenous reservation of Kisgó, according to key actors within the community. It is important to note that the boundaries considered by the community members differ from the official boundaries established by the State. The area of the reservation according to the State is 6.6 km2, while the area utilising the boundaries set by the community is 9.6 km2, a notable difference. This map was co-constructed during a participatory workshop with key actors from the Kisgó reservation using Google maps. This map is important for researchers to understand the perspectives of those that inhabit this area, as well as the territorial processes carried out, as there are many water springs in the extended territory. Additionally, this map is important for the Kishu community that they could use in the future if they wish to apply to amplify the recognised reservation area or dispute existing boundaries.
