- Abstract
Most of the current land cover and land use in the GRB is concentrated in sugarcane cultivation, with 57 thousand hectares. These represent 49% of the total available land in the basin, and 20% of the total hectares planted with this crop in the department. This is followed by other crops combined with pasture with 17,000 hectares, which represent 15%.
