Abstract

The páramos are ecosystems typical of South America, and Colombia has more than 50% of the world's total. The UCRB owns 154,000 ha, which represent 7% of its territory.  This information was obtained from the IDEAM ecosystem map (2017) in which each of the ecosystems of the basin are described.
